CRIME: BURGLARY AND GRAND THEFT
CRIME SCENE: RURAL PROPERTY ON 80 FOOT ROAD IN BARTOW
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-23176
PCSO Agricultural Crimes detectives are seeking information about a burglary and grand theft that occurred on a farm in Bartow, in the 2400 block of 80 Foot Road.
Sometime between May 25th and June 2nd, 2023, unknown suspect(s) stole approximately 100 gallons of Makaze brand herbicide from a 260-gallon tank that was on a flatbed trailer parked on the property. Also stolen was a large gray trashcan filled with approximately 1,400 butterfly flush valves.
The value of all of the stolen property exceeds $3,800. An employee saw this white car parked near a pond on the property around 5:00 p.m. on May 29th, and detectives would like to identify and speak to the adult white male seen here.
